Our Client is a growing employment law and HR advisory centre. Due to a continually busy caseload and high-quality instructions, this private practice law firm is now looking to expand its’ team and welcome on board another experienced employment lawyer and/or Human Resource employment law specialist, thus joining a thriving Team.
The Client believes in using the strength of its’ staff, whilst providing an opportunity to enrich their weaknesses by way of personal and professional development. Also creating and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with both staff and clients is of high importance.
The workload varies from defending personal grievances, conducting in-house formal processes, undertaking employment audits, wide-scale restructuring right through to ensuring Department of Labour compliance with ‘enforcement undertakings’. In addition, the Firm provides ongoing HR support to businesses within a wide cross-section of industry through a monthly retainer programme.
The successful candidate/s will be able to advise employers and high-level executives on a range of employment law and day-to-day HR issues, plus have experience in managing a caseload and time recording. Sound business development skills are necessary to help raise a personal profile and contribute to the growth of the business. Advisors often attend mediation and represent clients at the Employment Relations Authority, so advocacy experience is beneficial.
