Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitor -
***CONTENTIOUS TRUST AND PROBATE SOLICITOR - 0-5 years opqe - LONDON
Based in the City office of this major regional law firm, the team advises charities, individuals and professionals. It is one of the most highly ranked teams in the UK, with rankings in Chambers, Chambers HNW, Legal500 and the Top 3000 Charities directory (as one of the top two legal advisers to charities in the UK).
It advises on the full range of issues that arise in relation to an estate or trust from one-off questions to fully contested litigation involving multi-million pound estates. The work includes challenges to the validity of a will, Inheritance Act claims, proprietary estoppel claims, claims for the repayment of lifetime gifts and international issues.
Applications are invited from qualified UK solicitors, from recently qualified or with up to 5 years pqe. Must have a strong litigation background, including some contentious trust or probate experience
You will need to display a positive attitude, be self-sufficient and flexible and have an analytical, conscientious and attentive character, together with good communication skills and be willing to participate in the firm's business development activities; and enjoy working as part of a team.
