Jersey is 45 sq miles (118 sq. kms) and has a population of approx. 96,000. Similar to Guernsey in many ways, its' sheltered position means that it has a temperate climate, often warmer, with more sunshine hours than the other British Isles.

The Client:- A major law firm based in St Helier, Jersey

The Appointment:-
Associate Solicitor with 1-3 years pqe, sought for the Family law team

The Principal responsibilities are as follows:
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an excellent background in all aspects of Family law including all areas of financial remedies open to clients on divorce, Children Act applications, pre-nuptial agreements and co-habitation disputes. The candidate should have a sound understanding of ADR practices and ideally is a Mediator and/or Collaborative Family Lawyer. Essential requirements for this role are solid academics, a strong work ethic and a commercial, client focused approach to the delivery of excellent service. You will be highly motivated and committed to contributing to the continued growth of the Team, have effective communication skills both verbal and written and an ability to work well under pressure. A high level of client contact is a fundamental part of this role. Experience of successfully managing own caseload is essential.
